I have been using the Frigidaire FFRA051WAE air conditioner for a few weeks now. So far I would say it is a good air conditioner at a great price. I Think this is 90% of the way there for the best AC window unit I have seen. Just has 2 major flaws.Pros- Very quiet for what is possible. of course air makes noise when moving so that sound is all there.- Super cold air, much colder than any other Window AC unit I have felt- Connects to phone and remote, kind of cool. I bought this for my garage. I live in Alabama. It is March 7, 2023 and was 86 degrees today. This air conditioner was delivered today, so you know I had to install it! Packaging was easy to remove. Now, I must have the world' smallest window in my garage. It' an old, metal frame window. When I read the description, it seemed like it would fit perfectly after measuring my window. OK folks, it can be done!I had to overcome two different issues for installing this 8,000 BTU unit:1. The window opening wasn't tall enough - 11 1/2 in.2. The window was too wide - 52 in.1. To overcome the 11 1/2 in. opening (with my bottom sash lifted all the way up):I have tilt out vinyl windows and the sashes are removable. Removing the bottom sash allowed for 14 1/2 in. This is an amazing unit! Was very easy to install and came with pretty much everything you need. Heat function is great! Also cools down the room very quick and effectively. Black color looks amazing! The app is pretty great too! Love this unit!

It was easy to install. If you know basic wiring you can do the job yourself and save money. It' quiet and works very good. Only set back is that I didn't notice the refrigerant lines were only 9 foot long. Put a damper on placement of the condenser. And you have to pay more for an extension. Will look at other manufacturers next time. But works good. Did not come with template for me either for hanging on the wall.
This thing rocks, I installed mine late October 2023 and it' been chugging along ever since. Heating bills are down considerably and it runs so quietly. The smart home feature has worked flawlessly since day one but that can always change. Integrates with home assistant if that is something you do too. Overall its a fun project to install if you like DIY stuff, and it really cuts down on bills. Win / Win

The smart home feature has worked flawlessly since day one but that can always change. Integrates with home assistant if that is something you do too. I've installed a few different brand mini split systems over the years and I decided to give this Della system a shot. I received the pallet in good shape but upon unpackaging the condenser I noticed the physical dent in the metal exterior cover. There was no damage to the shipping box so I assume that the unit slipped past quality control. They are a bit loud but normal for a window unit. They installed easily in about 15 minutes. I had a central ac in my house that died. I have a massive double living room connected to a hallway bathroom and bedroom that all needed cooling. Normally my house is the same temperature as outside without air. With my central working it would struggle to keep 77 degrees. I installed just 2 of these units in my living room and my central thermostat was reading 67 degrees this morning in my hallway, far

This AC was easy to install and cools the bedroom very well.
I live in the very humid area of Coastal South Carolina. Purchased this to supplement the air conditioning in our FROG / bonus room. It works great. Even during the day it helped drop the temperature there. I like that I could move it to another room during power loss if needed. I havent needed to set up a condensation catch bucket b/c of the evaporation feature it uses. I love the WiFi connectivity and ability to turn it on remotely and schedule operating times.
I live in a very hot and humid southern state. My central AC unit died, and the replacement estimates run from $6500 to $8500 depending on the size. These products were hard to install you had to actually get a lot of missing parts to it. You have to actually buy a lot of the wall hiding tubes to hide most of the wires. It does come with a lot of wiring and you have to actually change the refrigerant when you get it you have to drain it all out and re-but another one or else youll keep getting error codes when you install them. I had to get a professional person to come out and install them. My husband was able to put them up and assemble t
